Creative Project Manager

Position Overview

The Creative Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, proofing, and production of creative deliverables that support brand and product marketing initiatives. This role ensures all creative assets—across digital, print, and multimedia channels—are executed accurately, delivered on time, and aligned with strategic marketing objectives.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Project Manager and creative teams, the CPM serves as the bridge between project management and creative execution. They own the production timeline, facilitate communication between teams, and ensure seamless handoffs from concept through final delivery.
In addition, this role acts as a liaison with creative technology platforms and AI-driven tools (such as Imagine.io) to enhance content ideation, visualization, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Project Oversight

  • Manage end-to-end production timelines for all creative deliverables — including design, copy, photography, video, 3D visualization, and digital assets.
  • Oversee the proofing process, ensuring all stakeholders review and approve assets before release.
  • Coordinate multiple creative workflows simultaneously, maintaining a clear view of priorities, resource allocation, and deadlines.
  • Maintain and update production schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of project milestones and dependencies.
  • Ensure creative work aligns with brand standards, campaign goals, and marketing strategies.
  • Integrate and manage creative AI tools and visualization platforms (e.g., Imagine.io) within the production workflow to support virtual content creation, mockups, and dynamic campaign asset development.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison between Marketing Project Managers, the Creative Team, and external technology partners.
  • Translate project briefs, marketing objectives, and feedback into actionable creative tasks.
  • Facilitate communication between marketing strategists, designers, copywriters, and production vendors to keep work moving efficiently.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks, resource conflicts, or communication gaps and resolve them quickly.
  • Lead creative project check-ins and proofing sessions, ensuring all parties are aligned before final approvals.
  • Collaborate with AI solution partners and internal stakeholders to test, iterate, and implement new creative workflows that leverage automation, generative design, and AI-assisted ideation.

Production & Quality Control

  • Manage the production and delivery of creative assets across all media (digital, print, video, web, and events).
  • Partner with vendors, printers, photographers, freelancers, and AI platforms to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.
  • Track and document all creative requests, revisions, and approvals using project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Uphold brand consistency and quality standards throughout the creative development process.
  • Support post-launch reviews to assess performance, collect feedback, and recommend process improvements.
  • Evaluate and optimize AI-generated creative outputs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and brand alignment in all assets produced through platforms like Imagine.io or similar tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Design, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing creative or production workflows in marketing, advertising, or agency settings.
  • Strong understanding of creative production processes (design, copywriting, photography, video, print).
  • Experience working with or implementing creative AI tools (e.g., Imagine.io, Midjourney, Runway, Firefly) preferred.
  • PMP or comparable project management certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to balance creative vision with project requirements.
  • Deep understanding of production timelines, file handoffs, and review cycles.
  • Proficient in project management tools (Smartsheet) and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite workflows.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage cross-functional relationships diplomatically.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality in every deliverable.
  • Comfortable leveraging and iterating with AI-driven creative tools to streamline asset development and enhance visual storytelling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
