Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to lead all shipping and receiving operations within our Aquatic facility. The Shipping Manager will manage a team of logistics personnel, ensure accurate and on-time shipments, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and an ability to oversee logistics workflows in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of shipping and receiving personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of outbound shipments, including picking, packing, staging, and loading.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups, monitor deliveries, and support on-time delivery goals.
• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, including hazardous materials documentation and safe handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with Production to ensure product readiness for shipping.
• Evaluate and improve shipping workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment compliant with ABG safety standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of shipping or logistics experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Forklift certification preferred.
