About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Mold Production Supervisor to join our team in Lancaster, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing daily mold shop operations and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The Production Molding Supervisor will lead a team, monitor workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact manufacturing performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of production molds to ensure performance and longevity.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend mold life.
• Troubleshoot mold-related issues and coordinate timely repairs to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain detailed records of mold usage, repairs, and maintenance history.
• Supervise, train, and mentor mold technicians; assign tasks, set expectations, and conduct evaluations.
• Monitor and optimize workflows to align mold shop operations with production demands.
• Implement process improvements to enhance mold performance and reduce maintenance costs.
• Research and recommend new materials, tools, and techniques for mold maintenance.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain inventory of mold components and supplies; coordinate procurement as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of mold-making techniques, materials, and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with tooling, CNC machining, welding, and other mold repair processes a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing management software.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mold maintenance or related manufacturing roles.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility with exposure to production equipment and materials.
• Prolonged standing and walking; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Base Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
