Salary Range: $70,304 - 75,000 (Exempt)

Position Summary

Florestone is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations at our Madera, California manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment and facility systems that support daily production.

The Maintenance Manager will oversee preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and facility upkeep while working closely with production leadership to minimize downtime and support operational goals. This position requires a proactive leader who can troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate maintenance work, and help maintain a safe and well-functioning manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance operations within the Madera facility
• Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems
• Diagnose and coordinate repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Supervise and support maintenance technicians and contractors as needed
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work to minimize disruption to production
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs, and work order documentation
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to increase efficiency and reliability
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility maintenance regulations
• Coordinate facility maintenance including building systems, utilities, and infrastructure
• Assist with equipment installations, plant improvements, and capital projects
• Work closely with production leadership to address equipment concerns and improve operational performance
• Maintain an organized and safe maintenance shop and work areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reporting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to bend, reach, climb ladders, and work around industrial equipment
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures

Pay Transparency (California)

The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $65,000 annually. The final salary offered will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
