Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Loader to join our warehouse team in Hamilton, AL. The Warehouse Loader is responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count materials while supporting efficient warehouse flow and inventory accuracy.
This Warehouse Loader role is essential to maintaining safe material handling practices and meeting daily shipping and receiving goals.
Orientation will be held at the plant in Martinsburg, WV. Must be able to commute.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Loader
- Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage products.
- Transport materials to designated storage or production locations within the warehouse.
Inventory & Product Handling
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and location accuracy.
- Ensure products are properly placed, labeled, and retrieved from assigned locations.
Shipping & Receiving Support
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
- Verify load accuracy, quantities, and secure materials for transport.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
- Wear required PPE and operate equipment responsibly at all times.
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
- Support overall warehouse efficiency and productivity goals.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and departments to meet operational demands.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse tracking tools preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moving equipment and materials.
