Manufacturing Mixer Operator (Mix Room)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Manufacturing Mixer Operator to support production by preparing and testing materials used in the manufacturing of bath products.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Mixer Operator is responsible for accurately mixing resin, fillers, and other raw materials while ensuring all inputs meet established quality specifications. This role supports production efficiency by maintaining proper material preparation, inventory readiness, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will work closely with production, quality, and receiving teams to ensure materials are available, tested, and ready to meet production demands.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Mix resin, fillers, and other raw materials according to established formulas and specifications
  • Test incoming and in-process raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain knowledge of raw materials, chemical handling, and mixing equipment
  • Catalyze materials accurately for production use
  • Prepare and cut wood or other materials required for production processes
  • Stock and organize materials to support continuous production flow
  • Assist with unloading incoming materials and support the receiving department as needed
  • Communicate with vendors regarding raw material quality or specifications
  • Perform special assignments related to mix room and lab operations
  • Monitor material usage and ensure proper documentation of batches and tests
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and finished goods as needed

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and formulas with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment preferred
  • Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous manufacturing, mixing, or lab experience preferred
  • Experience working with raw materials or chemicals is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform light to moderate physical work
  • Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
  • Ability to operate a forklift and work in a manufacturing environment
