Position Summary
Swan Surfaces is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support regional transportation needs for our Centralia, Illinois facility. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials and finished products between manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and designated delivery points.

This position plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain and ensuring that products are delivered safely and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Dedicated Route Operations
- Safely operate company trucks to complete regional, dedicated transportation routes
- Execute scheduled deliveries with consistency and reliability, including overnight routes as required
Load Management
- Ensure loads are properly secured, balanced, and transported safely to prevent damage
Compliance
- Adhere to all FMCSA and DOT regulations, including Hours of Service requirements
Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) and report any maintenance concerns
Communication
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, shipping, and plant leadership
Documentation
- Complete required paperwork, shipping manifests, and electronic logging device (ELD) records accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with strong safety history
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Reliable and able to work independently while supporting team operations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
- Ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
