Warehouse Associate / Returns Processing
Location: Vintage Tub & Bath Fulfillment Center – Wilkes-Barre, PA
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Returns Processing team member supports daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, receiving inbound shipments, and processing product returns. This role involves packing orders, moving materials, managing Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), updating inventory records, and coordinating with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and efficient product flow.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Move completed boxes to staging areas using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or carts.
- Use scanners to record materials received and distributed.
- Assist with unloading inbound trucks and verifying shipments.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Support team members and assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
Returns Processing
- Review and process Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests.
- Issue RMA numbers and coordinate return instructions with customer service.
- Track returned items in the company ERP system.
- Coordinate inspection of returned products and determine disposition (restock, repair, warranty replacement, scrap, etc.).
- Work with warehouse teams to receive and verify returned shipments.
- Maintain documentation for returns, warranty claims, and credit requests.
- Identify recurring return issues and communicate findings internally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred.
- Experience with RMA or returns processing is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials between 25–100 lbs.
- Frequent bending, lifting, and moving of products.
- Experience using basic warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, utility knives, pneumatic carton closers, and tape measures.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays depending on production needs.
Due to the dynamic nature of warehouse operations, team members may be asked to assist in other departments or operational areas when workload levels fluctuate. Employees are expected to remain flexible and support overall warehouse productivity.
