Position Summary
Swan Surfaces is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in industrial maintenance, with a strong ability to diagnose issues and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely, effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to support daily operations and resolve issues quickly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (including PLC troubleshooting preferred)
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- PLC experience (troubleshooting and basic programming)
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Work Environment & Schedule
- Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or off-shifts as needed

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
