E-Commerce Sales Operations Manager

Position Summary

The E-Commerce Sales Operations Manager is responsible for supporting and optimizing the operational execution of e-commerce sales across retailer.com, marketplace, and digital commerce channels. This role focuses on improving processes, data accuracy, reporting, inventory visibility, product onboarding, promotional execution, and cross-functional coordination to drive operational excellence and scalable growth.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, process-oriented, and experienced in managing complex retailer onboarding, digital content workflows, inventory coordination, and sales reporting within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Process Management

  • Manage day-to-day operational support for e-commerce sales initiatives and retailer execution.
  • Develop and improve scalable processes for product onboarding, assortment management, and promotional execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities between sales, marketing, supply chain, customer service, IT, and product content teams.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Product Onboarding & Content Execution

  • Oversee SKU onboarding and setup across retailer and marketplace platforms.
  • Coordinate product data, digital assets, pricing, and syndication requirements with internal and external partners.
  • Monitor onboarding timelines and resolve setup, compliance, and content issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely product launches across all digital channels.

Inventory, Availability & Order Management

  • Partner with supply chain and inventory teams to monitor in-stock performance and inventory health.
  • Support retailer inventory feeds, forecasting alignment, and order flow accuracy.
  • Track cancellation rates, backorders, fulfillment issues, and operational KPIs.
  • Assist in resolving retailer operational issues related to EDI, ASN, routing, and drop-ship execution.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for key business metrics
  • Analyze operational performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Support forecasting, QBRs, and retailer business reviews with data-driven insights.

Promotional & Pricing Execution

  • Coordinate promotional setup and validation across retailer platforms.
  • Support pricing governance and execution accuracy.
  • Monitor promotional performance and retailer compliance.
  • Assist with markdown, funding, and promotional reconciliation processes.

Systems & Retailer Platform Management

  • Serve as a key operational contact for retailer portals and e-commerce systems.
  • Support integrations and workflows involving:
  • Salsify
  • Rithum
  • Syndigo
  • Retailer portals
  • ERP systems
  • EDI transactions
  • Troubleshoot operational issues related to product setup, content syndication, and inventory feeds.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with:
