About the Role:

The Logistics Data Analyst is responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, analyzing logistics data, and ensuring efficient product flow from acquisition to delivery. They develop and implement logistics strategies, manage relationships with carriers, and track performance metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Compile data from multiple sources and prepare various reports looking at carrier performance, domestic trucking, On time delivery, invoice accuracies, carrier damage, cost savings etc.
  • Create and manage KPI reporting for ABG Domestic Logistics (Dreamline, Vintage, Arizona Shower Door, Mr. Steam)
  • Summarize and manage outbound shipments for more than 12 locations in North America shipping across USA.
  • Interact with internal and external customers, collect data and information as needed to compile reports.
  • Analyze freight damages, compile the data & work with Engineering on packaging improvements.
  • Summarize and track Domestic rate trends and provide recommendations on future carriers
  • Analyze outbound lane lead-times for multiple brands across North America & make recommendations on selections
  • Identify & engage new carriers as well as existing ones, negotiate pricing & help review and implement contracts
  • Overseeing warehouses to ensure that products are received, stored and shipped safely and efficiently
  • Researching supply chain issues to identify potential problems and preemptively address them as well as addressing routine and unexpected disruptions in the supply chain to keep products moving.
  • Obtain & analysis freight carrier quotes for Parcel, LTL, FTL
  • Manage FMD (Final Mile Delivery) program, set up and run routes, summarize savings, implement the process at multiple locations within ABG
  • Developing, evaluating and revising logistics policies, procedures and plans with the creation & management of all related SOPs for the Logistics team
  • Prepare analysis for optimizing pick path locations within each warehouse to optimize flow
  • Build relationships with carriers, hold them accountable to ABG’s KPI metrics
  • Aid in analysis for Network Design of warehousing location across North America based on product demand profiles
  • Manage incoming invoices to ensure they match the ERP system.
  • Assist with Ad Hoc reports as needed

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain or Logistics or related Business field
  • Internship in supply chain position preferred
  • Supply Chain Management Certification, preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Advanced skills with MS Excel is required for this role (Pivot tables, Charts, formulas, etc)
  • Ability to compile data from multiple sources with emphasis to accuracy and details
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks within a changing environment
  • Detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Dependable and flexible with the ability to work on additional assignments as needed
  • Strong sense of urgency & the ability to influence others while managing conflict
  • Ability to self-direct and take constructive action

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
