Position Summary

The Field Installation & Service Technician is responsible for the installation, adjustment, and after-sales service of shower doors as well as the repair of bathroom fixtures within residential and commercial environments. This role requires strong technical ability, professionalism, and attention to detail to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • ·Install shower doors and related hardware, including sliding, pivot, bypass, shields and enclosures
  • Take accurate measurements on-site to ensure proper fit and installation
  • Install rails, hinges, handles, and other hardware components
  • Safely transport and handle glass panels and installation materials
  • Apply silicone and waterproofing materials to ensure proper sealing
  • Adjust and level installations to ensure proper operation and finish quality
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, replacements, and service calls related to shower doors and bathroom fixtures as required
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in professional condition
  • Ensure all work is completed according to company quality and safety standards
  • Provide customers with clear explanations regarding product use and maintenance
  • Collaborate with operations and customer care teams to ensure seamless execution of service requests
  • Support continuous improvement by providing field feedback and recommendations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in shower door installation, glazing, construction, renovation, or related field
  • Experience handling and installing glass products safely
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to read measurements and technical specifications
  • Customer-focused and professional approach
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
  • Bilingualism (French & English) since employee must communicate with English and French speaking customers
  • Plumbing knowledge considered an asset
  • Must hold a valid CCQ certification and be affiliated with one of the recognized Quebec construction syndicates under the trade classification of glazier (Vitrier) or carpenter
  • Strong sense of professionalism, organization, and accountability
  • Able to remain composed and effective under pressure
