The Opportunity
American Bath Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with fiberglass repair expertise to support residential and commercial customers throughout South Georgia and North Florida.
This role is ideal for technicians who have worked in fiberglass repair, tub and shower refinishing, marine repair, boat repair, RV repair, composite repair, or auto body environments involving fiberglass materials.
You will travel directly to customer locations to evaluate, repair, and restore fiberglass bath products while representing American Bath Group professionally in the field.
What You'll Do
- Perform fiberglass tub, shower, and bathware repairs at customer locations
- Repair chips, cracks, surface defects, and cosmetic damage using fiberglass repair techniques
- Work with resins, fillers, epoxies, gel coats, sanding, finishing, and color-matching processes
- Travel to residential homes, apartment communities, hospitals, construction sites, and wholesale locations
- Manage and schedule assigned service work orders
- Maintain repair inventory, materials, tools, and supplies
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, builders, and facility personnel
- Deliver high-quality repairs that meet company standards
- Document completed work and maintain accurate service records

Typical work weeks range from 40–50 hours depending on customer schedules and territory demands.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 2+ years of fiberglass repair experience
- Experience working with fiberglass, resin, gel coat, epoxy, fillers, sanding, finishing, and color matching
- Ability to diagnose and repair cosmetic and structural fiberglass damage
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel throughout South Georgia and North Florida
- Strong time management and self-motivation
Preferred Backgrounds
- Fiberglass tub and shower repair
- Marine or boat repair
- RV repair
- Composite manufacturing or repair
- Auto body repair involving fiberglass materials
- Surface refinishing and restoration
Not a Fit If You
- Do not have hands-on fiberglass repair experience
- Prefer working in a shop rather than in the field
- Struggle with customer interaction
- Require close daily supervision
- Cannot travel throughout the assigned territory
