Production Supervisor

Job description:

Location: Centralia, Illinois

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership: Effectively lead and manage a team of production employees during the second shift on weekends.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team members meet performance targets and adhere to company policies.

Production Oversight: Monitor and manage the production process in the Department.
Ensure timely completion of production schedules and meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet established specifications.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to maintain product integrity.

Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all employees follow safety guidelines.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the Molding Department.
Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to implement best practices.

Communication: Foster clear and effective communication channels between team members and management.
Report on production progress, challenges, and successes to upper management.

Bilingual Skills: Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is preferred to facilitate effective communication with a diverse workforce.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in molding or related processes.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Flexibility to work second shift hours on weekends.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
