DC Lead

What You'll Do:
As a DC lead, you’ll play a critical role in managing warehouse floor operations to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety and Compliance: Monitor DC operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols, company standards, and DC compliances.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and supervise staff in material handling processes to optimize performance.
  • Order Management: Verify order accuracy and ensure all documentation is precise and complete.
  • Process Coordination: Direct and coordinate DC shipping and other warehouse activities to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all tasks meet accuracy, completeness, and quality standards.
  • Daily Preparation: Prepare the team with tools, schedules, and instructions to succeed each day and plan for the next.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with management about delays, issues, or improvements needed.
  • Work Environment: Foster and maintain a safe, organized, and positive working environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a can-do attitude.
  • Preferred:
  • Hands-on experience with WMS systems, scan guns, computer systems (Outlook, Office, etc).
  • Forklift experience is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable standing for 8–10 hours (or more).
  • Ability to bend and lift items weighing 25–100 lbs.
