Praxis Industries, part of American Bath Group, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our warehouse team in Clifton, Tennessee.

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse and distribution operations. This position is well suited for candidates with experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory control, or material handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
  • Unpack, label, stage, and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer and production orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Create shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate the movement and staging of materials for outbound shipments.
  • Operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and material verification.
  • Enter and update shipment, order, and inventory information within warehouse or ERP systems.
  • Communicate with production, purchasing, customer service, carriers, and warehouse team members.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and operating policies.
  • Perform additional warehouse, inventory, and distribution duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or distribution preferred.
  • Experience with order picking, packing, labeling, and shipment preparation.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory software, or ERP systems.
  • Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment preferred.
  • Understanding of inventory-control practices, cycle counting, and stock verification.
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities.
  • Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, shipping labels, and warehouse documentation.
  • Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning, or MRP, systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment after completing required training.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on business and production needs.
