The opportunity: Build dependable in-house warranty repair coverage across Colorado by diagnosing and repairing bathware products safely, professionally, and right the first time.

About American Bath Group

American Bath Group is a North American bathware manufacturer focused on building better products, relationships, and customer experiences. This new territory-based position strengthens direct service coverage and gives customers a consistent, accountable repair experience.

The Role

As the Colorado Field Service Technician, you will own assigned warranty work from scheduling through closure. You will plan routes, travel to customer locations, diagnose the source of an issue, complete repairs, protect the surrounding environment, communicate clearly, and document the work with before-and-after photos and customer sign-off.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for someone who can work independently in a mobile environment. Direct bathware experience is welcome but not required; proven craftsmanship from an adjacent repair trade can transfer well.

What You Will Own

Territory execution. Personally manage scheduling, routing, travel, tools, materials, inventory, follow-up, and work-order closure.

Diagnosis. Determine whether the issue is a manufacturing defect, an installation issue, or a repair scenario that needs escalation.

Hands-on repair. Perform finish-sensitive and structural work using power tools, sanding, buffing, fillers, coatings, resins, and related repair methods.

Customer care. Work professionally in occupied homes, job sites, wholesalers, warehouses, and builder or plumber environments.

First-time quality. Protect the surrounding space, follow safe work practices, meet finish standards, and prevent workmanship-related callbacks.

Documentation. Maintain accurate repair details, before-and-after photos, customer sign-off, and proactive status communication.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days: Learn ABG tools, PPE, products, repair standards, documentation, and customer-service expectations.

By 60 days: Independently schedule and complete standard territory repairs, classify issues accurately, and close work with complete documentation and customer sign-off.

By 90 days: Handle a broader mix of paint, finish, structural, and installed-product repairs with limited support.

Ongoing: Manage a full territory workload, complete standard work within 14 days, deliver first-time quality, and contribute to improved customer survey results.

Required Qualifications

Valid, unrestricted driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Willingness and ability to cover the assigned Colorado territory, travel outside it when business needs require, and stay overnight as needed.

Ability to work independently without daily onsite supervision and to manage route, time, tools, materials, communication, and follow-up.

Comfort using email, mobile technology, photos, work documentation, and customer sign-off processes.

Ability to perform the essential physical and safety-sensitive functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, kneeling, confined-space work, respirator use, chemical handling, PPE, and power-tool operation.

Demonstrated practical repair aptitude and willingness to complete a hands-on tool, safety, diagnosis, and workmanship assessment.

Experience That Can Transfer Well

There is no fixed years-of-experience requirement. ABG will evaluate practical evidence of craftsmanship, diagnosis, safety, customer care, and independent execution.

Fiberglass or acrylic repair; automotive or marine paint/body work; refinishing; plumbing; installed-product repair; or comparable finish-sensitive craftsmanship.

Mobile field service, route ownership, or work completed with limited day-to-day supervision.

Hands-on work with sanding, buffing, fillers, paint, power tools, structural repair, or related processes.

Experience protecting occupied customer spaces, explaining repair work, and securing customer acceptance.

Ability to learn repair methods across different materials and product types.

Training and Company Support

Initial onboarding includes approximately two weeks of plant-based training in Ennis, Texas, followed by field shadowing and support. Travel and lodging for required training are arranged and covered by ABG.

Company truck and fuel card.

Company phone.

Tools, PPE, repair supplies, and materials.

Covered business travel, lodging, and meals.

Central warranty-team triage, routing support, and service visibility.

Work Environment and Schedule

Preferred home base: the Colorado Springs-Aurora corridor.

Expected schedule: approximately 40-50 hours per week, based on travel distance and repair complexity.

Drive time and business travel time are paid.

Overnight travel is required when territory coverage, training, or business needs call for it.

Work is completed in occupied homes and active customer or trade environments; professionalism, appearance, workspace protection, and clear communication are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $22.00-$30.00. The current standard starting rate is $22.00 per hour; any rate above that standard is subject to experience, internal alignment, and approval.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; life insurance; and paid time off, subject to eligibility and applicable plan terms.

This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If You Are Looking For

An office-based warranty coordinator, dispatcher, estimator, or people-management position.

A fixed local-only schedule with no overnight travel.

Close daily supervision or external follow-up to manage your time and documentation.

A role where tool familiarity alone is enough; this position requires diagnosis, finish quality, safe execution, and demonstrated craftsmanship.

Application Information

Applications are expected to be accepted through August 31, 2026. The application window may be extended if the position remains unfilled.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. ABG does not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.

Equal Employment Opportunity
