AKER by MAAX is hiring Parts Pullers / Demold Operators for our Martinsburg manufacturing team. This is a critical, hands-on manufacturing role responsible for safely removing cured bathware products from production molds, protecting the finished product, identifying quality issues, and keeping units moving to the next stage of production. Starting pay is $19.00/hour, with a path to $21.00/hour as you qualify, demonstrate the standard work, and build proficiency in the role.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Occasional Saturday work may be required based on production needs. This position is onsite in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

What You'll Do

As a Parts Puller / Demold Operator, you will help safely release finished bathware products from production molds while protecting both the product and the mold. Your work directly affects product quality, production flow, and the ability of the next team to do its job successfully.

• Safely remove cured bathware products from molds using approved tools, equipment, and work methods.
• Verify that products are ready for demolding before removal.
• Handle finished products carefully to avoid cracks, chips, scratches, surface damage, or mold damage.
• Use carts, fixtures, lifting devices, or team-lifting techniques when required.
• Stage completed units properly for the Trim Department or next production step. Inspect for Quality
• Visually inspect products for cracks, chips, voids, contamination, surface defects, or other quality concerns.
• Identify and report defective or nonconforming products.
• Stop, tag, hold, or segregate products when required by the standard.
• Inspect molds for damage, buildup, or abnormalities and report concernspromptly.
• Maintain proper product identification and traceability.
• Follow Standard Work and Safety Requirements
• Follow standardized work instructions, safety requirements, and production exceptations
• Maintain clean and organized work areas using established housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Wear all required PPE.
• Work safely around production equipment, carts, molds, and powered industrial equipment.
• Communicate problems or unusual conditions to the Team Lead, Supervisor, or Quality

We are looking for people who can learn and consistently follow standard work, work safely around large products and production equipment, recognize visible quality defects, handle finished products carefully, work reliably in a paced manufacturing environment, accept coaching and demonstrate new skills, and work effectively as part of a team. As you demonstrate safe execution, quality, consistency, and qualification in the role, you can progress toward the higher end of the pay range and build additional manufacturing capability through cross-training.

Realistic Job Preview:
