Job Description

Paid Media Specialist

About American Bath Group

American Bath Group is a North American manufacturer of bath and shower products with a portfolio of brands serving residential and commercial markets. Our teams combine manufacturing scale, brand expertise, and customer focus to support growth across multiple channels.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Paid Media Specialist to support our DTC/e-commerce business. This role is responsible for directly managing and optimizing paid acquisition across search and paid social, with primary emphasis on Google Ads and Meta. You will turn performance data into action, test new approaches, and continuously improve customer-acquisition efficiency and return on ad spend.

This is an individual-contributor role for someone who enjoys operating inside the platforms, understands how paid media works at a technical level, and wants direct ownership of campaign performance.

What You'll Do

  • Build, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns, with a strong focus on Google Ads.
  • Manage and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta/Facebook/Instagram.
  • Monitor CAC, CPA, ROAS, conversion performance, budget pacing, and other acquisition metrics.
  • Adjust bidding, targeting, campaign structure, audiences, budgets, and creative based on performance data.
  • Develop and execute structured tests across campaigns, audiences, bids, creative, and channel mix.
  • Identify underperforming areas, diagnose likely causes, and implement specific corrective actions.
  • Partner with internal marketing and business stakeholders to connect paid-media activity to DTC/e-commerce growth goals.
  • Use AI and automation tools where useful to improve analysis, campaign workflows, copy development, testing velocity, and execution efficiency.

What Success Looks Like

  • Paid search and paid social campaigns are managed with strong execution discipline and clear optimization logic.
  • Customer-acquisition efficiency improves through thoughtful bidding, targeting, testing, and budget decisions.
  • ROAS is increased or protected while supporting sustainable DTC/e-commerce growth.
  • Campaign issues are identified quickly and translated into practical actions rather than passive monitoring.
  • Testing becomes a regular operating rhythm, with learnings applied to future campaign decisions.
  • You establish yourself as a reliable, self-directed operator who can manage day-to-day paid media with normal onboarding and direction.

Work Environment

This is a fast-moving, lean-team environment where performance data changes quickly and campaign decisions often need to follow. The role combines tactical platform work with analytical judgment, so you should be comfortable moving between execution, troubleshooting, testing, and performance review throughout the week.

  • Hands-on and highly iterative.
  • Data-driven with a strong bias toward testing and continuous improvement.
  • Best suited to someone who works independently, follows through, and takes personal ownership of results.
  • Requires curiosity, urgency, adaptability, and comfort making decisions from performance signals.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on paid media experience in a retail, DTC, or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong practical experience with Google Ads, including campaign structure, bidding, targeting, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Meaningful experience running and optimizing Meta/Facebook/Instagram paid-social campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of CAC, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, attribution, budget allocation, and campaign-performance analysis.
  • Ability to explain the reasoning behind campaign, bidding, audience, budget, or creative decisions.
  • Experience personally operating campaign platforms rather than primarily managing agencies or external vendors.
  • A structured experimentation mindset and the ability to translate data into specific campaign actions.
  • Comfort working in a lean, fast-paced environment with a high level of personal accountability.
  • Practical familiarity with AI-enabled marketing or workflow tools is preferred.

Why Join ABG

  • Direct impact: your work will influence customer acquisition and e-commerce performance.
  • Hands-on ownership: this role is designed for an operator who wants to stay close to the platforms and the data.
  • Broader channel exposure: work across paid search and paid social rather than being limited to a single acquisition channel.
  • Opportunity to improve how work gets done by bringing strong testing discipline, analytical thinking, and modern tools into the paid-media workflow.

American Bath Group is committed to building teams that can execute, learn, and improve in a performance-driven environment.
