Web Operations Specialist

Job Description

Overview

We're hiring a Web Operations Specialist to help run a multi-brand website portfolio: B2B and DTC e-commerce on Shopify, a Magento 2 store, and a set of brand sites on a modern Jamstack front end. The work varies so every day looks different: full website builds, third-party integrations, QA, maintenance, fixing what breaks, and turning stakeholder requests into results.

We're an AI-forward team. Everyone does hands-on build work with AI-assisted tools, and we're actively building internal tooling that changes how the work gets done. You'll use those tools daily and be expected to have judgment about when they're the wrong answer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work a varied request queue across the portfolio.
  • QA before and after anything goes live.
  • Write clear tickets and briefs.
  • Coordinate with our external development partners.
  • Help improve how the work gets done.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • A degree or experience: computer science, information systems, information technology, digital marketing, web development, or a related field; or comparable hands-on experience you can walk us through.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • JavaScript/React familiarity, Git, or experience working against a staging environment before pushing to production.
  • Adaptability: you've taught yourself something real and then used it at work. You can walk us through what you did when there was no documentation and nobody to ask.
  • Professional experience where other people depended on your output.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written communication.
  • Comfort juggling several things at once.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and judgment about what they hand you.
  • A positive, growth-oriented attitude.

Preferred

  • Experience in a CMS or e-commerce platform: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento / Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, or similar.
  • Headless CMS experience (Kontent.ai, Contentful, Sanity, or similar).
  • Experience in UX and accessibility.
  • Google Analytics / GA4, or comfort with spreadsheet and data work.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development or workflow automation.
