About the Role

American Bath Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Bootz facility in Evansville, IN. This is an entry-level, hourly position ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, solving problems, and learning new skills in a supportive team environment.

In this role, you will help customers by answering questions, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. We are less focused on years of experience and more interested in candidates who are positive, coachable, and eager to learn.

Schedule:
Start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with 8-hour shifts.

Compensation:
$17–$20 per hour

What You’ll Do

  • Provide friendly and professional customer support via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries and help resolve issues in a timely and positive manner
  • Process orders and ensure accuracy of pricing, delivery dates, and product details
  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales, production, shipping, accounting, and purchasing
  • Monitor delivery schedules and product availability
  • Support regional sales managers and manufacturer representatives with product and order information
  • Assist with proposals for distributors for steam bath units and towel warmers
  • Process and review orders from e-commerce and EDI systems
  • Prepare basic documentation related to shipments, orders, and exports
  • Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs
  • Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and problem solving

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Positive, approachable personality with strong communication skills (customer-facing role)
  • Comfortable working with computers, business systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes
  • Willingness to help improve workflows and contribute to building team tools or tracking systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to helping customers

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Any formal education beyond high school (college coursework or degree)
  • Previous customer-facing experience such as retail, hospitality, or service roles
  • Interest in AI tools or emerging technology that may support customer service operations

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, or office experience is helpful but not required
  • This role is designed as an entry-level opportunity for someone who is coachable and eager to grow

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable working in an office environment
  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Frequent communication with internal teams and customers
