About the Role:
The Order Processing Specialist ensures all orders are received, processed, and shipped within a timely fashion while adhering to all dealer requirements. Proactively solve problems using available resources. Demonstrate superior work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and have a positive, enthusiastic approach to your work and peers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures all orders are processed in an accurate and timely fashion in accordance with each individual dealer's SLA.
- Responds to all internal and external communication in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensures daily processing numbers are met.
- Tracks and follows up on both inbound and outbound orders.
- Monitors supply levels to make sure items are ordered in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for monitoring and updating information over several different platforms.
- Responsible for processing customer orders; and liaising with customers regarding delivery dates and order expectations.
- Ability to examine purchase orders and retrieve necessary data.
- Processing of completed orders through to invoice.
- Prepare for customer inquiries by studying products, services, and customer service processes.
- Need to interface effectively with all levels of management, customers, and staff.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Additional duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience with customer order processing preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail alongside speed and efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Ability to function independently and multitask.
- Must be able to articulate details to customers in a professional manner.
- Must have demonstrated typing skills.
- Must be able to follow directions and get daily work processed.
- Must be able to communicate calmly under pressure.
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be creative and able to think on your feet to resolve order issues that arise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in SalesForce, EDI transactions, ERP systems is a plus but not a requirement. Will train the right individual.
