Production Line Lead

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead to oversee operations on the assembly line within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings, demonstrating leadership skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient production processes. As a Line Lead, you will play a crucial role in coordinating team activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the assembly line team to meet production goals.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Train new employees on assembly procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with machinery and equipment, utilizing mechanical knowledge for effective solutions.
• Operate forklifts and other power tools as needed for material handling and assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and enhance productivity.

Skills

• Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to manufacturing tasks.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in inventory management or logistics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety on the production floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
