Assembly Technician
Aquatic Bath | Onsite | 1st Shift

We are currently seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team.
This position is responsible for installing hardware and components on bathtub units while ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday
5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Install hardware and components on bathtub units according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production tickets
- Verify proper measurements and positioning of installed components
- Ensure productivity and quality standards are consistently achieved
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Collaborate with scheduling, shipping, and production leadership regarding job status, priorities, and production needs
- Accurately complete labor reporting, quality documentation, job tickets, and move tags
- Load materials and maintain inventory as required
- Participate in monthly inventory cycle counts
- Identify and report quality concerns and non-conforming products or processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, recycling, and process efficiency
- Follow all environmental, safety, housekeeping, and PPE requirements
- Assist with cross-training and support other production areas as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of inventory tracking and material management practices
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to identify and resolve production-related issues independently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, stand-up lifts, and pallet jacks preferred
- Knowledge of safety practices, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements
